Charleston Frog Snatching Trips

They are phenomenal! We’d argue that they are better than chicken.

Yes! Since these trips are late at night, your captain will clean the frogs for you after the trip, letting everyone get home as soon as possible. We'll coordinate a time to meet up the next morning and deliver your freshly cleaned frog legs, ready to be breaded and thrown in the fryer. 

Since these trips require you to be on the bow, we limit the group size to four to ensure everyone has an ample amount of time on the bow, snatching up frogs.

These trips are safe! Our professional guides have been frog-snatching their entire lives and love sharing this unique Lowcountry trip with folks of all experience levels. As an extra precaution, we’ll have you wearing a reflective inflatable PFD. They’re not an encumbrance and make it easier to find you if you fall overboard.

You can, but we recommend making sure your kids are up to it. Some of these trips can be late at night. If you think they can come, bring them, but if we’re out for two hours and the kids want to go home, you’re still responsible for the trip. If your child is less than 12 years of age, they will be required to wear a lifejacket.

Our USCG-certified captains are first-aid and CPR-certified. Every boat has a first aid kit on board. We have radios and cell phones aboard every vessel to contact the Coast Guard should an emergency occur.

Safety is our top priority during these trips! If bad weather or unsafe conditions threaten our trip, we will work with you to reschedule to another day or provide a refund if another date does not work for you.

As with all of our experiences, your deposit is non-refundable, but we understand that things come up—emergencies happen. If you need to cancel your trip, contact us ASAP to discuss your options. Refunds are issued at your captain's discretion.

If you need to reschedule due to an emergency or conflict, contact ASAP to go over your options. We'll do our best to accommodate schedule changes, but any rescheduling requests are ultimately up to your captain's discretion and may not be accommodated.

Yes! But within reason. These trips are late at night, so it’s more high risk. Please be responsible with alcohol consumption.

Tips are not included in the price. A 20% gratuity is customary and greatly appreciated by your captains and mates.
