The August through October season is some of the best offshore and deep-sea fishing Charleston has to offer—but this golden three-month window goes by fast.

While we catch sharks in these waters throughout the year, the summer and early fall months—roughly May through October—are when the action is the best!

While we catch resident red drum in our creek beds year-round, the late summer and early fall—stretching from August straight through November—mark the legendary Bull Red Run.

From flounder gigging in the creeks to the shark fishing in the harbor, the Lowcountry is fishing fantastic right now!

April is when the Lowcountry officially catches fire. This is arguably our favorite month of the year to be out on the water fishing in Charleston.

March is what I like to call the “Great Awakening” of the Lowcountry. The winter chill is finally starting to lose its grip, and as those water temperatures start creeping up into the low 60s, the whole ecosystem starts to buzz.
